




Phthalo is built over a matte, multi-colored base of dark purple, brown, and black, layered with more than 30 glossy glazes in shifting greens, blues, and bits of magenta.
At first, it can look almost like one dark color, but the longer you look, the more you start to notice. There’s greens, blues, and small magenta accents that only really come through after a while.
I liked the idea of making something that slowly reveals itself and makes you question what color you are actually looking at.
